Generally clean and presentable. Hallway Carpets seemed new-ish. AC, hot water functioning properly. Limiter on tele volume a GOOD idea. I'm slightly selective about interior lighting ( I prefer LOW/ reflected amber warm levels) so...I had to work at achieving my light quality/ level comfort. Hard flooring a good idea vs icky carpet. On the morning of my departure - I noticed that someone ( guest? or a contractor?) had spilled some sort of white paint, on the the landing immediately outside the 'side' extwrior exit door - and then continued to drip said paint as they walked away, toward the parking lot. Visually offensive ground plane blemish - which i brought to the attention of the receptionist, as I turned in my key. I will likely consider staying at a comfort inn, again, in the future.

Very convenient to the interstate. About a 15 minutes drive to Fernandina Beach/Amelia Island, 15 minutes to Jacksonville, and 15 minutes to Kingsland and St.Marys GA. So it's a great little spot. Its also right behind a KFC, McDonalds, Krystal and Wendy's. Across the street is a Burger King so food is no issue. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. No bugs like some reviews said. Good breakfast.

The staff at the front desk the night of 3/8/25 was extremely helpful in assisting me with booking my room. She remembered my name when I checked in and was very pleasant. The staff at the front desk in the morning was very busy with breakfast, but she took the time to greet the guests and make sure everyone had what they needed. People make the difference! The other guests were also very nice.
